Sam Babkin
Owner & Talent Agent
Sam Babkin has spent his life at the intersection of two worlds: the stage and the boardroom. Growing up, he fell in love with the entertainment industry. Not just as a spectator, but as a participant. He trained as an actor from a young age, developing a firsthand understanding of the audition room, the vulnerability of the craft, and what it truly takes to build a career in this industry.
Professionally, Sam built his career in recruitment. He learned how to identify talent, build relationships, and advocate for people in competitive markets. He became skilled at reading people, understanding what makes someone stand out, and connecting the right individual with the right opportunity.
Kinship Talent Agency was born from the realization that these two passions were never really separate. Everything he learned in recruitment (strategy, advocacy, relationship building) applies directly to talent representation. And everything he experienced as an actor (the nerves, the rejection, the breakthroughs) gives him a perspective that most agents simply do not have.
Today, Sam channels both sides of that experience into every client relationship at Kinship. He knows what it feels like to be on the other side of the table, and he is committed to being the kind of representation he wished he had: honest, strategic, and genuinely invested in helping actors book work and build lasting careers.
